We’ve had another good week adding 3 new listings and closing on over $1M in Lake Keowee waterfront real estate. We are bringing on a 26 acre track of land along Oconee Creek, an interior lot in Keowee Key near the clubhouse and a waterfront lot with covered dock in the Harbor Point subdivision. We are hopeful that we will get one more waterfront lot listed prior to the end of the year, fingers crossed.

How’s business? Very good. Thanks for asking. It’s been an above average November and looks to be a good December. We closed on a couple of properties over the past week and put another Lake Keowee waterfront real estate lot under contract. We’ve also been out to a few more potential listings that we expect to get on the market soon.

The great news is the views are opening and you can get a much better idea of the overall look of a Lake Keowee piece of land or home with those pesky leaves on the ground instead of in the trees. We’ve listed a few spectacular lots over the couple of weeks and they are begging for you buyers to come out and see them in their leafless glory.  Check out Lot 56 Point Harbor, Lot 5 Laurel Ridge, and Lot 6 Laurel Ridge. Finally, we are going to get some nice cold weather around Lake Keowee. Over the next few days, the weatherman is calling for highs in the 50’s with some frost warnings at night. Lookout, we might be heading deep into a southern winter. In a month or so we might even have a freeze warning. Probably too much to ask for a white Christmas. But let’s do it anyway. Please, Old Man Winter, give us a white Christmas (just for a day – not real big on long snow events, we just want to borrow some snow for a little while).

The bad news is we only have a couple of new listings to take pictures of. Everything is lining up except you fence sitters. Now is a great time to put your Lake Keowee home or lot on the market as there are still plenty of buyers in the market. We can help you by letting you know the current value of your home. Even though it’s still warm around Lake Keowee we are starting to see the first hints of the colors to come (and the warm days are turning into cooler nights, which is nice). We are seeing spectacular, clear blue skies days making it the perfect time to get out on Lake Keowee and enjoy the last vestiges of the 2023 Lake Keowee season (who knows, you might even want to purchase your own place to take advantage of the fall colors and have a great place to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas or sell what you’ve got since you won’t get out as much over the winter).

We are hopeful that business will continue as it has over this entire year. We’re looking at closing over $1M in Lake Keowee lots over the remainder of the week. After that things get a bit slower as the inventory remains lower than the number of perspective buyers. It’s still a great time for you potential sellers and if history is any indicator, folks love to look at Lake Keowee real estate in the fall. The views begin to open and you can walk up and down multiple properties without having to change your shirt.
