Over the past week we’ve been able to close on one house and a Cliffs Springs lot. We’ll close on another Lake Keowee waterfront home and lot over the next few days. We’ve just added a spectacular home in Breacon Shores, 519 Beacon Shores Dr., and have a line on another Lake Keowee interior lot we plan to add to the inventory soon. That’s the kind of busy we love. Just need to keep it moving.

Just in time to knock down the pollen around Lake Keowee comes a little bit of rain for the next few days before a stunning Lake Keowee area weekend. College basketball is over, baseball is in full swing and lake season is standing on our throats laughing. Kids will be out of school before you know it and clamoring to get on the water. It’s happening around Lake Keowee. Spring is doing its thing. We are starting to see the sprouts coming outs. It’s an exciting time that leads to a very busy time for Mike and Matt Roach, Top Guns Realty, Inc. It’s been a good winter, and we are ready to go full force into spring and summer. Between now and mid-July, we will see buyer activity ramp up significantly as folks realize they can actually swim in Keowee but need to get their own house or lot so they can do it on a consistent basis. While enjoying a gorgeous day around Lake Keowee, I chanced upon a newspaper that had the current weather forecast for the Lake Keowee area. Seeing as the college baseball season is starting this weekend, I assumed it’d show that there will be three incredible, springlike days coming up on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Much to my surprise/dismay, it predicted rain and possibly snow on Saturday. Knock it off! Don’t go ruining my early spring, Old Man Winter! Don’t y’all head out to buy bread and milk, I’ll bet you a dozen Krispy Kreme Hot Nows we won’t see the first flake of snow. Spring is here!

We were fortunate to close almost $1.5M in Lake Keowee waterfront real estate and put $400K under contract over the past week. We’ve also landed an interior home in Keowee Key to sell and are about to put a big track of Lake Keowee area land on the market. Things continue to hum right along and it looks as if 2024 will be a really good year, even with elections looming. We’ve just got to keep adding great listings!

We are closing just under a couple hundred thousand in real estate this week and will be putting $3M in real estate on the Lake Keowee real estate market.
