Slower weeks this time of year allow more opportunities for us to go over advertising, marketing systems, etc. We’re ever striving to create as many eyes as possible on our listings as well as getting as many people as possible to look at them in person. We’re also working hard to create buyer leads for other listings out there. It’s amazing how far we’ve come in 37 years. We were selling real estate on Lake Keowee when there was still such a thing as an actual printed multiple listing book. Yea, we’ve seen a lot of change while doing thousands of real estate transactions.

Let’s get to Lake Keowee business! With the cold comes fewer folks getting on the water and looking for Lake Keowee homes. The key word in that sentence is fewer…not “none”, because here are still plenty of folks looking for the right kind of Lake Keowee property. We were able to put a Cliffs Falls listing under contract over the past few days adding yet another listing on its way to being sold for 2025.

What’s new around Lake Keowee? Well, the kids are back in school! Clemson just had their move in week and begin classes today for the Fall of 2025 semester. That means we are just a few days from college football starting up as well. Sure would be nice to relive those college years, but we’ll just have to settle for doing it vicariously.

Business? YES! Great week as we added those listings last week and were able to put two Lake Keowee waterfront homes under contract along with a Lake Keowee waterfront lot. We also wrote a couple of contacts on a couple of others that we are trying to work out. It is the time of year to make things happen and of course we continue to do just that.

What a great last week as we were able to add 3 new Lake Keowee waterfront house listings to our inventory. 308 Treetops Dr. in Waterford Pointe, 508 Merganser Way in The Cliffs at Keowee Falls North, and 329 Foreststone Dr. in Waterstone. All great properties priced well and ready for you to go to contract on. We were also able to put a Lake Keowee waterfront house, a Lake Keowee interior lot with boat slip and waterfront Lake Keowee lot under contract. That is the kind of July week you hope for.

We need you sellers to sell, the inventory remains low and there are buyers anxious to give you their hard earned money. It might be just the right time for you to let that Lake Keowee real estate go. Maybe you aren’t using it as much as you’d like or there is a project that could use an influx of capital. Why not cash out and cash in?

We were able to close a Lake Keowee interior property this week as well as add a listing that we quickly put under contract. That amount of activity makes for a good week, though we are always looking for great. Buyers are looking in earnest with the goal of getting into that Lake Keowee home around the July 4th holiday. You could help them out by putting your Lake Keowee home or lot on the market (with us of course).

It’s party time around Lake Keowee as folks begin to get out on the water in earnest. Expect this week to be one of the last on the cooler side and prepare yourself for Summer 2025! It should be an interesting one!

Key to that equation is you guys listing your property with us. The ones of you whose situations have changed, kids have moved, etc. Why not take advantage of this continued seller’s market and get some cash in your pocket. You never know what new opportunities could spring up!

The one we listed is one we sold leaving the market with a total of 5 Lake Keowee waterfront lots available that have covered docks. That’s far too few. You need to sell your lot, make lots of money, sit on that money for a while and let it grow, then buy another Lake Keowee lot from us in the future – build a house on that Lake Keowee waterfront lot, live in it for a while….wash, rinse, repeat…you get the idea!
