Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Cool Days
Literally and figuratively. It always feels like the beginning of school is an ending to another Lake Keowee summer which brings a bit of sadness – “sad clown face”. However it is fortuitously supplanted by exceeding jubilation as it marks the beginning of another college football season (said season being exponentially more sweet this year as my Clemson Tigers are the Defending National Champions!)…oh, and the spectacular visual beauty which is fall around Lake Keowee on the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains ain’t bad neither. This week will be filled with work first and foremost, but will also include preparations for the season’s first tailgate; a noon kick-off vs. Kent State. The weather is cool and overcast giving us hints of what’s to come. A lot of people decide to do things a lot of ways and when it comes to tailgating we put our heart into it like we put our hearts into our business: with passion! Get there early and stay late, covering all of the bases (or is it sidelines, end zones…what is the football metaphor ((is that a metaphor?))) .
As mentioned above we are still working very hard to make our living on Lake Keowee(so we can afford the big tailgate thing). We’ve been able to put a $600,000 plus Lake Keowee waterfront house under contract and add a fantastic new Lake Keowee waterfront lot listing over the week. We’ve also stepped closer to the goal line on a couple of more big time Lake Keowee waterfront deals. This has been a very good year and we still have 1/3rd of it remaining.
Saying goodbye is always sad, thank goodness for all of the hellos!
