In the Thick of Things
We absolutely love this time of year. The beautiful warm days beckon us all to get out on Lake Keowee on your boat, paddle board, personal watercraft, multi-person floatation device with cooler jammed in the middle, just name your buoyancy apparatus of choice. We were out shooting video for one of the new listings we acquired over the past week and I even saw one boat pulling three tubes, each toting a gleefully shrieking child. Now that’s a party!
Unfortunately, we don’t get to spend all of our time frolicking in Lake Keowee’s waves. We do have to work and a lot of that has been done over the past week, including writing an offer for a 1.3 million dollar house, expecting offers for a $179,000 lot and $300,000 lot, and inking up 4 new listings. That’s two houses and two lots if you’re taking notes. We’re in the process of shooting all of the pictures, videos, etc. and expect to have them all up and running by the end of the week. Oh, I forgot to mention we also closed a $1,275,000 Lake Keowee waterfront house and a $340,000, a $150,000 and $75,000 Lake Keowee waterfront lots. Striving to be busy and over achieving, but hey that’s what happens in June on Lake Keowee.
As for your timing to buy or sell Lake Keowee real estate, now is a great time to do both. Yesterday would’ve been better but today is still great. If you’ve been holding off on putting that $550,000 house on the market, hold on no longer as now is the time to get her sold quickly and for a sweet price. If you’ve been waiting for that perfect deal on an inexpensive Lake Keowee waterfront lot, again, wait any longer and there will be no such thing. Today is great, yesterday would’ve been better, but today will more than suffice…don’t make me say it again tomorrow!
