Go Home Drunk Winter
It’s spring! The trees around Lake Keowee and Jocassee are starting to show their buds and we’re seeing the Daffodils popping out wherever a weed can pop out. Heck, we’ve even test run the jet skis…and by “test run” I mean had a blast! Wow, was there even a winter? There was that one snow event, but I missed it due to the Clemson Tigers playing in Tampa for (and winning in case you live under a slab of granite) the national championship. So it’s almost like the winter of 2016 is the winter that never was. In all scientific probability, things around here are just too dang warm and fuzzy from the Tigers bringing home the National Championship!
On to business: we’ve put three houses and a lot under contract over the past week ($2,660,000 in volume and 5 sides). That brings our current board up to 14 sides and $4,700,000 in volume to close on top of the 12 sides and $2,912,500 volume we’ve already closed for 2017. Those are summertime numbers so keep your fingers crossed that the actual summer numbers will increase accordingly!
If you weren’t aware, now is the time to get your Lake Keowee or Lake Jocassee property on the market as we head into the spring and summer marketing seasons. Especially houses, there is a real push for Lake Keowee waterfront homes right now so please take advantage if you are ready to have yours sold. Naturally, if you want it sold for the most amount of money possible in the least amount of time you need to sell it through us, your Lake Keowee real estate experts Mike and Matt Roach.
As for you buyers, keep it coming!
