And I don’t recall ever seeing so many smiling parents in car line! But it’s just so-so news for Lake Keowee real estate as it means the 2015 selling season can hear the fat lady warming up in her dressing room (don’t peak in there…ever!) But that certainly doesn’t mean we are slow, no far from it – though it could always be better but like my personal friend Steven Wright says, “You can’t have everything. Where would you put it?”. The really good news is the weather has cooled down a bit. It’s officially gone from demonically unbearable to simply sweltering. Not really, in fact, it’s quite pleasant out now as it rains a bit to push those Lake Keowee and Jocassee water levels up. You know what cooler weather means – FOOTBALL! I’m sure most of you are not nearly as excited as we are (seeing that we have medically diagnosed as football-aholics). When I think of football I think of leaves changing into their beautiful fall colors and crisp afternoons by the fire while looking out over Lake Keowee (I think a lot about tailgating, too).

Down to business; we put another Lake Keowee waterfront home under contract (of the over 1 Million dollar variety) this past week as well as a Jocassee lot and are working on another (of the over 1 Million dollar variety)home. We did have a waterfront Keowee lot fall out, but we’ll keep trying to find the folks something. We expect this fall and winter to be a lot like last fall and winter,i.e., consistent. With good tours and offers, but probably not as many as we see in the summer.

For you sellers, we still have several good weeks left so make sure your property shines! For you buyers – now is still a GREAT time to get a GREAT DEAL! And GO TIGERS!!!
