Everybody talks about the weather but it seems like we’re the only ones doing anything about it…or with it, actually. This time last week we were prepping to hunker down into our weather-proof shelters (re: homes and/or domiciles) to hide from the Freeze Miser and right now it’s 65 and sunny, a perfect day for a boat ride. You gotta love South Carolina (especially our little nook of God’s country called Lake Keowee and Jocassee)! The rain will probably be back in a couple of days but you can’t help but smell spring just around the bend. The Masters is almost ready to tee off, Clemson and South Carolina tossed out their first pitches for their respective baseball seasons and “March Madness Bracketology” is all the rage again. Yeah, it’s time for some buds to bloom!

If you didn’t get my message last time, now is when you need to get your Lake Keowee property on the market if you’re looking to sell. Quick quiz: when is the time to get your property listed? Now you say? You have been paying attention (you get a cookie!) We remain very lively (bet you thought I was going to say hectic or busy but I didn’t so give me back that cookie), with several house tours over the weekend and writing up 2 offers for Lake Keowee lots. One is still on the table but unfortunately the other died a quick death; just one of the stark realities of the realty business (great idea for a book for those thinking of getting into this line of work). We’ve also added an incredible view lot in the Bay Ridge subdivision that has a boat slip in the community launch/dock area. It’s lot 28, check out the aerial video which was taken last Thursday (you’ll note some of the snow remains).
