Tightening Up
The Lake Keowee housing market, that is. If you’ve been waiting to get your $500,000 to $600,000 Lake Keowee waterfront home sold, your time is starts … now! There are only 5 waterfront homes currently available in that price range, and of those only 3 have full-sized docks. We believe there are several reasons for this situation; the market is just getting better with more buyers in this price range coupled with the continuing low interest rates. Two, the unusually high temperatures this winter starting the spring about a month early just equals more buyers. And three, sellers are waiting for a date in March to put their house on the market when they should have been waiting on the weather. Again, now is the time to put your house on the market and of course we are the people to get you the most money in the least amount of time with the least amount of stress!
We’ve already closed 18 sides for the year for a total volume of $4,023,500. We currently have 10 more sides to close (of those 9 are houses) for a total volume of $4,489,000. Let me remind you, it’s early March. By point of reference, by this time last year we’d closed 7 sides for $3,600,000 and went on to close just shy of $25,000,0000 in volume on 79.5 sides – one of our best years ever. To keep it going we’ve got to have more inventory and that’s where you guys come in, WE NEED YOU! That is if you are wanting to sell your Lake Keowee waterfront home or land, even if it isn’t between $500,000 and $600,000.
Oh, and how about the Tigers Baseball team. 2 out of 3 from South Carolina, a big series victory. For you Gamecocks, you’ve a very good team and will probably be there in Omaha in the end, just a bit snake-bit when it comes to playing Clemson! At least for now.
