We did get us a Lake Keowee waterfront lot closed last week. Always good news to have some activity. There are currently 11 Lake Keowee houses under contract and 5 Lake Keowee lots under contract. We currently have 1 Lake Keowee waterfront side, and 3 Lake Keowee interior lot sides on our board to close. That’s not too bad for November in an election year but can always be better.

As stated above we are still seeing activity in all phases of Lake Keowee real estate. We were able to close a $1M+ dollar home last week and will be closing a Lake Keowee waterfront lot this week. Sounds like a fairly normal week here at Top Guns Realty. Just like for the last 26 years (as Top Guns and 36 years in real estate on Lake Keowee). There have been a lot of ups and downs, but we’ve been here for you guys for a long time. If we haven’t helped you yet, hopefully it’ll be soon!

We’ve had another good week closing on over a million dollars in Lake Keowee real estate, locking down a new Keowee Key listing and meeting some folks to talk about listing their house in the morning. We’ve got a couple of good Lake Keowee waterfront lot tours scheduled, as well. Before too much longer it’ll be cold for realz and activity will slow (fo reel fo reel).

Business must go on and we had to do lots of business before ,during and after the storm as listings, under contract homes, rental properties etc. had trees down all around. Getting folks here, there and everywhere while trying to reschedule closings, inspections, etc. It’s been quite the busy week. We did close a Lake Keowee waterfront home, but not a lot of tour activity going on currently. We expect it to get back to normal soon. 

Find a charity, give what you can. There are a lot of people in need of help. Looks like there will be a lot more folks in need of help in the mid Florida area, as well. Just have to keep pushing forward!

No, those trees aren’t supposed to be that way. All over our houses, important wires, cars, etc. We here around Lake Keowee are having to do a bit of clean-up (bit means a lot) currently as the area struggles to get everything back up and running again. Several folks are still with out power and most are without Internet. Fingers crossed that things can get back to normal for most folks fairly soon. It’s been a difficult few days for sure. 

We moved some more Lake Keowee real estate last week as we were able to close on over $850,000 worth of Lake Keowee waterfront lots. We also put an interior Keowee Key lot under contract, another waterfront lot under contract and added a new Lake Keowee waterfront lot listing (the one we put under contract, it was a gooood one!). We expect more of the same this week as we’ll be looking to add another Lake Keowee waterfront home to the mix. It appears buyers and sellers like this time of year around Lake Keowee, as well. 

This change hasn’t stopped folks from buying and selling Lake Keowee waterfront real estate as we’ve been able to close on just shy of one million dollars’ worth of it over the past week. We’ve also been able to put $2M in Lake Keowee property under contract. It’d be nice to keep up that pace, and we’re going to try and do exactly that. Broken record time; we need your help. We need more listings. There are still plenty of buyers in the market, you can make both them and you very happy people: they get top value real estate while they give you top dollar.

We’ve had a good week, closing $4.5M in Lake Keowee waterfront real estate and getting 4 new listings that should soon turn into more Lake Keowee waterfront closings. It’s exciting stuff and leads us to believe the market will stay strong for a good while longer. We keep waiting for the presidential election to have an effect but doesn’t seem to be happening, at least not yet. Everything is rolling right along.

July 4, 2024 is in the rear-view mirror meaning half the year is there, as well. Anytime I think about time nowadays it feels like it is speeding up. Is it? Wasn’t it just Christmas? Maybe, Christmas in July. That’s why we all must focus hard on living our absolute best lives. You never know when you will finish the race. Obviously, it’s easier to enjoy life when you do things like own a piece of property on Lake Keowee where you can launch a jet ski any time you have the compulsion (or compelsion if you’re from Mayberry). As I’ve said more than once, it’s hard not to have a smile on your face when you’re cruising the lake on one of those.
