It’s a bit slow leading up to the holidays, though we do expect to close on a Lake Keowee waterfront lot this week and have another waterfront lot we should be listing soon. The days have been crystal clear and beautiful if not a bit cold for this time of year. We don’t expect too much activity next week. We will probably get one or two folks who are in town for the holidays, dying to get out of the house, who would like to see what’s available. Bring it on!

Slower weeks this time of year allow more opportunities for us to go over advertising, marketing systems, etc. We’re ever striving to create as many eyes as possible on our listings as well as getting as many people as possible to look at them in person. We’re also working hard to create buyer leads for other listings out there. It’s amazing how far we’ve come in 37 years. We were selling real estate on Lake Keowee when there was still such a thing as an actual printed multiple listing book. Yea, we’ve seen a lot of change while doing thousands of real estate transactions.

What’s new around Lake Keowee? Well, the kids are back in school! Clemson just had their move in week and begin classes today for the Fall of 2025 semester. That means we are just a few days from college football starting up as well. Sure would be nice to relive those college years, but we’ll just have to settle for doing it vicariously.

We’ll be bringing on 3 houses here shortly that should see quite a bit of quick interest. Can’t wait to share them with you ASAP! As to be expected this time of year, activity remains strong though we are starting to see higher inventory levels in certain segments of the market. You buyers have much more to choose from, which is nice to say the least. So come out and get to choosing. Summer is in full swing, but you still have time to buy and close so you can enjoy it!

It’s party time around Lake Keowee as folks begin to get out on the water in earnest. Expect this week to be one of the last on the cooler side and prepare yourself for Summer 2025! It should be an interesting one!

This change hasn’t stopped folks from buying and selling Lake Keowee waterfront real estate as we’ve been able to close on just shy of one million dollars’ worth of it over the past week. We’ve also been able to put $2M in Lake Keowee property under contract. It’d be nice to keep up that pace, and we’re going to try and do exactly that. Broken record time; we need your help. Before you know it July 4th will be here. Around Lake Keowee it’s a BIG celebration with many communities putting on fireworks displays, cookouts, get-togethers, shin-digs, not to mention the occasional hootenanny. It’s absolutely the height of the season for Lake Keowee. It’s also the peak of Lake Keowee real estate season.
