Punxsutawney Phil says, “Early spring!” and we’ll take it! The “Blizzard of the Century of 2016” last week was enough for us. I say bring on the shorts, flip flops, sunscreen, afternoon Lake Keowee cruises and cool beverages. Today it’s a bit overcast but the temperatures are in the 50’s. Last night I was even out walking the dog and was comfortable in short sleeves. I’m sure we’ll have at least one more cold snap here in the next few weeks. This is, after all, South Carolina.
On to business! Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’, keep them lots and houses a-rolling…at least that’s the plan (thank you “Rawhide”). We were able to continue the streak alive by putting just under $2,000,000 in property under contract over the past week (and responsible for another $1,500,000 going under contract). The winter time activity continues to give us warm fuzzies. Still plenty of inventory out there, although the $450,000 to $600,000 range is starting to shrink up quite a bit. Hopefully this will create a domino effect that topples the other price categories over. We continue to add new videos despite the recent overcast weather. We are on schedule to have all of our listings sporting their new 360 degree videos in just a few short weeks, hopefully even by the end of the month! Before you know it, buyers won’t even have to leave the house to buy a beautiful new Lake Keowee property.
Enjoy Super Bowl 50 this weekend and be forewarned; as soon as Roman numeral L is done, time to hit Lake Keowee!
Make sure and check out the 2015 year-end numbers below.
