That fall we just had was awesome. Here’s hoping we have another that lasts but soon! Lake’s Keowee and Jocassee really show out in the fall and if we happen to have two this year then lucky us!. Right now we’re back to the 80’s (not the 1980s…nobody could stomach that) I guess summer just doesn’t want to give in and I’m pretty ok with that because it just means a few more jaunts with the kids on the jet ski! Like the one we had on Sunday late? MAAAAANNNN it was beautiful! But the good news is it doesn’t look like summer any more as we are starting to see a good bit of color change with the leaves. Did you know that when the leaves change color they are actually going to their true color? Yep, the chlorophyll is just so overpowering with green that you can’t see this gorgeous reds, oranges and yellows. For more information on fall flora please refer to your local Google machine. From what I’ve been led to believe you can get a considerable amount of information on numerous topics there – including Lake Keowee and Jocassee real estate experts Mike and Matt Roach.

Business is still good. We remain steady, but certainly slower than the summer. We are about to write up two new deals and have 2 waiting in the wings that will hopefully come to fruition soon. We closed another $550,000 in volume last week and have two lots scheduled to close over the next couple of days.

We did take some time to enjoy a fun Saturday in Clemson. Enjoying the homecoming floats followed by a football game that I’d say was one of the most improbable victories I’ve ever seen in person. If I were an NC State fan I’d be destroyed. But I’m not so Go Tigers. Hopefully that will be the springboard to better play because the Tigers are certainly capable of it and if they are going to make it back to the College Football Playoffs they are going to need to hold on to the football. NINE turnovers in 2 games but still resulting in TWO victories. Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. I thought it was pretty much a guarantee of a loss if you had 5. Again, I’ll keep riding the wave all the way into the rocks!

Still plenty of beautiful days for you buyers to spend looking at some great deals in Lake Keowee real estate. Don’t waste ’em!
