Indian Summer
Another day in the mid-70’s around Lakes Keowee and Jocassee and I have absolutely no idea how that relates to India (just sayin’), it appears we are stuck on Chamber of Commerce days for Lake Keowee for the foreseeable future. I’ve gotta tell ya it’s fine as wine and bold as gold and we love it! Crisp mornings, gently warming days accented by wisps of bright color throughout our forests – in a word, arresting! Did I forget to mention (and swoon over) football? I know what you’re saying, probably in something with a smart-alecky tone, too, so stop it, you know you love football as well… even if you don’t. Clemson plays Florida State this weekend in a big Halloween Night showdown (Halloween is officially Monday, but if you have kids you realize it’s Saturday making it more than difficult for me to get back in my dad chair for the 8:00 pm kickoff) after which Clemson will raise the victory banner yet again. The only bad news is it’s actually in Tallahassee, which is actually good news if you own a local sports bar!
On to business; things have picked up noticeably this week as we’ve put 3 properties and one house under contract with yet another house offer being worked. That’s what Im talking about, who cares about a presidential election, winter, etc. (thanks again Indian Summer!)? We are still working hard to reach our $30,000,000 goal, but as it stands now we’re tracking at about $28,000,000 by the end of the year on 82 (yes that’s right, 82) sides. Mike and I close one real estate side every 3 business days, or almost 2 per week. That’s moving some dang Lake Keowee real estate! The key here is we need your help. Really just one of you. The person with $2,000,000 to spend on a new, luxurious Lake Keowee or Lake Jocassee dream home. Sir or Madam, please call us now (a combination of any group of individuals leading to at least $2,000,000 in volume will work as well, we’re not snobs)!
For you ‘noles fans, you’ll always have 2013. GO TIGERS!!!!
