Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Tell Me It’s Still Summer!
In the aftermath of all the bluster and wetness with Hurricane Irma last week we are back, pretty much, to normal. It hasn’t been since last fall that I’ve used that much ethanol free gasoline (in the blowers clearing debris). Some really good news is the leaves will start falling again in a few weeks! Yea!!! I sure do love blowing leaves. Wait…what’s the opposite of love? Because that’s how I feel about blowing dang leaves. But I really do love looking at them right before they fall, in the fall (is that where the name came from? Looked it up and yep, just that simple. Leaves falling.). And we are set up once again to have a spectacular one leaf falling season.
More good news for you folks selling Lake Keowee real estate is everybody loves to look at property this time of year. We get a nice jolt in activity as the leaves change, especially on the north end of Lake Keowee and Lake Jocassee. In fact, we just put a lot under contract in the Cliffs at Keowee Falls up on the north end of Lake Keowee as the buyers love the feel of the area, surprise, surprise…especially during the fall.
Fortunately, our listings and sales are not just on the north end of Lake Keowee. Over the past week we were able to add to the sale above with two more lot sales and are currently working on three more for this week (again, your fingers must remain crossed). It continues to be a good year for Lake Keowee real estate as we get ever closer to a healthy and vibrant market.
