Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Merry Christmas!
This is the last Lake Keowee real estate expert Blog before Christmas and we wanted to wish all of our Lake Keowee real estate expert blog loyal readers a very Merry Christmas and happy Fiesta of Our Lady of Guadalupe (to our readers from south of the boarder), St. Lucia Day (to all of you Swedes), Hanukkah (to our Hebrew brethren), Boxing day (to all of you Aussies, Canucks, Englishmen and Irishmen), Kwanzaa (for our African American friends who celebrate the day), Ramadan (a couple of months early for our Muslim buds) and Omisoka (for you guys from the great Island nation of Japan). Lo and behold I’m sure to have offended someone by either missing the holiday, putting it in the wrong spot or spelling it incorrectly or committing some other egregious mistake. To that I say, can’t we all just get along? For you folks who were offended, whew!!! Could have been worse, at least I didn’t slap you on the behind.
*Disclaimer*— We here at Top Guns Realty in no way condone or approve of someone who doesn’t want to be slapped on the butt – be they male, female, or other? — being slapped on the butt. I reserve that privilege for my wife, and only when I really want to get in trouble – although she obviously loves it – ha! …is this too much, too sensitive? Yes, probably. I apologize.
On to the real reason for this Lake Keowee real estate expert blog; Lake Keowee real estate! We are coming up on the end of the year and will have those numbers all squared away and posted for you to peruse in a couple of weeks. The good news is that it’s been a really good year. It has been pushed around by lots of land liquidation sales and a more than an acute lack of reasonable offerings in the lower tiers for waterfront homes. Expect 2018 to see more lots being sold and more folks building (see the article Homebuilders sentiment hits its highest mark since 1999 in our Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert website www.LakeKeoweerealestateexpert.com). We feel we are positioned for another great year with many good lots for you buyers to choose from already in our inventory. We expect you who have one to sell to get it listed with us in the first part of 2018 as we plunge headlong into the teeth of the Lake Keowee real estate selling season.
We chalked up no new contracts over the past week, but we were able to close a beautiful $300,000 lot and add another beautiful waterfront lot to our inventory. Look for 2018 to be a special year for Lake Keowee real estate as we continue to climb out of the great recession (of which we’re still feeling the effects). Keep your fingers crossed that we as a nation can hold things together and realize that life can be a lot better, but is pretty good for many of us and it will only get better for all of us if we all try hard to make it great for everyone! Happiest of all Holidays!!!
