Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Cold Snap
Surprise, surprise it’s January around Lake Keowee and guess what? It’s cold. We usually get a couple of weeks of temperatures in the low 20’s to high teens around this time of year so nobody is buying up all the milk and bread from the Piggly Wiggly (yet). Everyone just has remember where they put their exterior faucet covers, etc. and it’s just enough cold weather that you understand we do, in fact, have a 4-season climate. The beauty of which is fall and spring are nice and long taking the sting out of these really frigid days.
If the roads are clear and the power is on we can still sell Lake Keowee real estate. And they’ve been clear all week leading to us putting a couple more Lake Keowee waterfront lots under contract. That’s a bit of a unicorn this time of year, but there are buyers waiting for inventory in certain price categories. We just listed 322 Hillandale Rd., a Lake Keowee waterfront home, for $1.1M which is in that price range where a lot of waterfront buyers are pining away for inventory. Hopefully, it matches the need of one of them and is under contract by next week!
We need more of that inventory. Your Lake Keowee waterfront home or lot may be just the property for someone in the market right now and they may be willing to buy it from you for an excellent price. Let us tell you what your property is worth. It may be the perfect time and price for you! And as always, stay warm!
- Do they seem professional and high-quality?
- Do they present an image of an organized, competent professional?
- Do they impress you as someone you may be interested in working with?
Keep in mind that if you don’t like the way they market themselves and other people’s homes, you probably won’t like the way they market yours either.
