It's Great to xx Florida State!
This is a huge week for Clemson, Lake Keowee’s big time local college football collective, as they host the Florida State Seminoles in a #3 (Clemson) vs. #5 (Florida State) showdown at Death Valley. If you’ve read more than a six syllables of any of our Lake Keowee Real Estate Blog in the past you are well aware of the fact that Mike and I graduated from Clemson (seems like yesterday–but actually over 20 years ago) and we make it a priority not to miss a home game if at all possible. We’ve been waiting (not so patiently) for a game of this magnitude since January 1, 1982 and believe you me we will be there to soak in every morsel of college football goodness from 9:00 am with ESPN’s College Gameday all the way through kickoff just after 8:00 pm and well into the victory party that’s sure to follow. Apologies to all of you loyal Seminoles fans, but it’s been a lot longer since our last (and I’m well aware of only) national championship than yours. Needless to say we will not be showing any Lake Keowee waterfront property on Saturday, at least not personally. But you can always view our array of listings of videos (both aerial and ground-based) and pictures right here on our website. That should hold you over until we can get the FSU thrashing out of the way!
As for Lake Keowee real estate, we are averaging a couple of new good listings every week. Just recently we added a small home on a Lake near Keowee as well as a Lake Keowee waterfront lot in the Crescent Community of Riverstone (very nice, private with gravel drive in place and full sized covered dock with hydro-hoist and jet ski buoy–$169,900). We will get all of the pictures, paperwork, aerial video and full video ready to roll by Friday afternoon—for perusal at your leisure.
As for sales right now, they’re so hot. Please don’t hesitate to thank our representatives in Washington as they hold us all hostages — especially the Lake Keowee luxury real estate market. Long story short no new deals this week and probably no new deals until we can eliminate the fear this “debate” has created. Good news is we won’t be too bothered by buyers while we enjoy the whoopin’ Clemson is going to put on Florida State (again nothing personal you Florida State fans, just the way it needs to be).
