Blink and it’ll be here (that’s the 4th of July for those of you wondering if I’d been snacking on lead paint chips and was for no discernible reason just quoting Chicago lyrics). Between now and then we’ll see the heaviest traffic through the doors, trees and underbrush of Lake Keowee properties for sale. Overall, the Lake Keowee home market is not much different than this time last year with 44 homes sold this year vs. 47 sold last year, however the lot market is a good deal slower with 50 selling last year to this point vs. 38 this year. That’s a 24% drop year over year. The good news is it’s early yet and we’ve got 5 lots on the board to close in the next few weeks. The even better news for you guys listed with us is that you’ve listed with the hardest working, best looking and most humble real estate crew available and we’re working our hand model-like fingers to the bone to get your property sold.
Now is the time to make sure your boat is up to snuff, she cranks, runs well and won’t leave you stranded on the lake. Make sure you’ve got all the life jackets you need and your lights are all working (might not hurt to have some back-ups on hand). If you’ve never taken a boating safety course, do it! Here’s a good one available online:
Have a great and safe week!
