Can’t Get Them All!
Where would you put ’em? That’s the thing about real estate for us realtors, you only get paid if you deliver. That’s why we work so hard to do just that. So far in 2015 we’ve closed 23 sides and over $8,000,000 in volume. While there are some deals that get away, we manage to 8.5 to 9 out of every 10 offers into contracts. And of the contracts, we close more than 95% of those. These kinds of numbers should get you into some hall of fame somewhere, right? But regardless of our statistical success, it still stings quite a bit when one doesn’t get finalized. We had one of those this past week and we’re still a bit tender. Good news is we’ve got several other folks interested in this particular listing – tomorrow is a new day!
Outside of the dead deal (that may very well resurrect!) it was still a good week as we added a couple of more listings as well as put another one of our lots under contract. We are just now creeping into the season and with numbers like the ones above we are anxious to the next level (not exactly sure what that level is – higher for sure, we’d love to close $32,000,000 this year).
We are working hard to make sure our listings shine brighter than ever by adding videos, getting professional photos completed and generally adding and adjusting things to try to appeal to as many people as possible. You guys help us out, check out our listings and let us know what else we could do, bring us the next great idea. We’d love to try to implement it!
Another piece of exciting news is that Mike will be featured in the upcoming HGTV episode of “Lake Front Bargain Hunt” Kickin’ Back on Keowee. Set your DVR’s for May 11 at 8 pm or do like we’re going to do: put down the iPad, pop some popcorn and watch it as it airs! Many hours were spent shooting aerial video as well as additional ground and water based footage that will be certain to make our Lake Keowee sparkle!
