Another Beautiful Day!
It may be cold this weekend – well, cold by our definition – Saturday is expecting a high of 52 and a low of 18 while Sunday will have a high of 43 and drop back down to 18 again that night. And as a I re-read that, 18 is cold by any definition! But with days like today I keep getting fooled into thinking it’s spring here on Lake Keowee, but I’m certain Sunday will remind me Old Man Winter still has some miserable wrath to unleash upon us. That’s going to be a cold day of college baseball as national power Clemson University starts it’s 2015 campaign with a weekend series versus West Virginia. Basketball is in full swing as well (thankfully they play indoors!) and Clemson’s team is now in the driver’s seat to get to the NCAA tournament after taking it to the formerly #10 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Ok actually that didn’t happen, but they were only a last second missed three from it). As you can see, we aren’t just about Lake Keowee. We are within a few minutes of major college sports to boot!
As for coming to Lake Keowee, how about this to help you make a decision, “Seneca rated best retirement area in SC.“ Seneca is also ranked 15th best nationally. Pretty darn good if you ask me (actually, I think it should be number one – that’s why I live here and you should, too!).
A few folks have decided to come to our area this week via purchases, we’ve been able to put two big lots under contract (price not size) as well as putting the finishing touches on a water front town home (keep your fingers crossed). We’ve also added several new good listings, I know you’re not exactly shocked but I still like bringing it to your attention. The busy-o-meter has stayed pegged at “Super Ultra Mega Busy now for months, which has really wreaked havoc on my golf game, but it’s well worth the sacrifice (ain’t nobody ever gonna pay me to play golf!). We’re out to shoot more videos and list and sell some more! Check out our website to view them!
