I’ve got a fever. And the only cure is…spring (although a lot could be said for “more cowbell”)! I can’t wait for it to get here! Look, if it’s not going to snow and the Christmas Holidays are over then what’s the point of winter? Turtleneck sweaters? Life threatening windchill factors? Frostbite? Well, from a real estate standpoint, I guess it’s good that there are no leaves on the trees so you can get a better idea of views from Lake Keowee water front properties. Outside of that I’m drawing a big fat blank.
Whether it’s cold or not the Lake Keowee real estate engine continues to thrust onward and upward. For us this time of year is spent getting listings on the market as we head into the meaty portion of the selling season. From mid-March to the end of July is when the majority of Lake Keowee real estate is sold. So, you intelligent sellers will have your property on the market before that time looking as good as possible to take advantage of the excitement of getting back out on the Lake (maybe that’s one other good thing about winter – the build-up).
For you buyers, why not take advantage of that leaf thing I mentioned earlier, get a jump on the other buyers out there and come on out and find yourselves a great Lake Keowee property. By the time you have it closed spring will defiantly be in the air and the lake will be beckoning! We’ve had several buyers do just that, closing $3.8 million dollars in real estate in JANUARY. Hopefully that tells you something and you’re listening! Now is the best time to act!
