Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog Blast is Past!
The Arctic one, that is. The recent spate of super cold weather has passed for now and it looks like we’ll be baking in close to shorts weather for the rest of the week with high’s near the 60’s. That’s winter around Lake Keowee and much of South Carolina for that matter! One day it’s too cold to even look outside, couple of days later, hum…. maybe let’s take out the jet-ski? That’s just one of the things that makes this place so great; four season climate with long springs and falls. Speaking of fall, did you catch that Alabama v. Georgia game? Amazing how Alabama is able to pull these games out. Apparently there is a horse shoe somewhere critical, pointed up. Just wait, the Tigers will be back for more next year (hopefully more like last year’s championship form and not of the last week ago kind of more). Hey, it’s basketball season now and our Lake Keowee Clemson Tigers (as I like to refer to them) are 14 and 1 leading the ACC two games ahead of both Duke and N.C. (take a picture of this, have been more likely to see a yeti in Florida). Also, they are ranked in the top 20 nationally! All that within minutes of your (or soon to be your) Lake Keowee property. That’s Big Time!
As for business, the weather has put a bit of a damper on the tours. We are still working through a couple of house offers and a couple more tours. Folks are taking advantage of the season and trying to find a good deal before they are all thawed out (see what I did there?) – which may be soon. The inventory continues to tighten up. It will be bolstered as folks put properties on in the spring, but they will invariable put them on the market at higher prices. So, if you are a buyer buy now.
We keep striving to get our listings out in front of as many wondering eyes as possible and are doing it quite well. The numbers of video views, picture views, listing views, etc. continue to climb. Everything is pointing towards 2018 being another banner year!
