The title has two meanings when it comes to Lake Keowee real estate as we mean button up in order to keep out the (at least what we Southerners perceive to be) cold AND to button up the year that was 2017 in Lake Keowee Real Estate. At this point in the year we flounder between a thick pull over and a tshirt…do you need an extra one in the car?…which one?…are you going to be walking property today?…you never know. How do we take care of that? I do by having a go bag of my winter gear thrown in the back of the car. Ready for anything, though I think all of the winter things could use a press after being stuck in a bag, and my wife would agree; but who cares when you are wandering through the woods looking for property pins, taking pictures, flying drones, etc.? Guess we need to carry a change of nice clothes in the car as well. Oh heck, let’s just build a small closet in the back of the car or better yet get an RV! (we could then use it at Clemson football tailgates!!!!).

The good news is there is still plenty of work for all of that clothing to help make sure we “button up” the year in Lake Keowee real estate. At this point we’ve got around $4.2M to close between now and the end of the year. If we can get them all to close and add a few more to the mix we will reach our $26,000,000 goal. That’s good stuff right there. Fortunately the goal seems readily attainable as we still have very good activity on several of our listings and expect to ink up over a million in volume this week alone. Last week we were able to add $583,000 in volume to the board which is on par for the course for a goal of $26,000,000. You know, I’ve never thought of it that way but that just tickled me. Over $500,000 in volume closed per week every week of the year. We like it and hopefully you are suitably impressed by our bravado as this is not normally how we like to act, but you gotta know how well we produce if you are going to use us for the sale of your Lake Keowee home or land or to help you find whatever it is you want us to find here on our lake. You won’t be sorry!
