The Boys of Summer
Going to be in the 70’s this week. When you walk outside around Lake Keowee you can hear the birds singing as if it is already springtime. When you look at the trees you see the buds of new leaves and when you look at the golf courses you can see the stop-motion transformation from dull brown to their rightful luxuriant green. SPRING! Yeah, it’s here. Whether the calendar says it yet or not I’m calling it and, boys and girls, we are ready to take full advantage!
More great news! We’ve moved into number one overall for the year in volume closed around Lake Keowee! We’’e already closed $5,591,000 in real estate this year and will add another $1,000,000 to that total by the end of the week. Not bad, but there’s a lot of year left and we’ve got plenty of work to do to keep up this torrid pace. Since last we blogged we’ve been able to put yet another lot under contract and will soon have another house under contract. This on top of putting a fresh new lot on the market and getting a couple of houses in the on deck circle ready to get up to bat (you were wondering when I’d get to the baseball metaphors).
Go Tigers, congratulations to our new head coach and his Clemson Tigers baseball team as they took 2 out of 3 for the second year in a row from the #13 Cocks vaulting them into the top 25 at #17. Keep up the good work. For you South Carolina fans, you’ve got a really good team and should be there in Omaha with the Tigers! Put me in, Coach!
