It’s really that time of year around Lake Keowee with folks realizing (me) that we have less than a week until Christmas. Got to get stocking stuffers, presents, etc., etc. and sell as much Lake Keowee real estate as is possible this time of year. It’s all a bit more complicated when you are trying to plan around everyone’s personal and business schedules.

With rain, cold weather, holidays and winter the Lake Keowee real estate market is a bit slower this time of year. It does look like we’re closing in on our 3rd best year ever with a volume just short of $30M for the year. We’re still working on getting a couple of new listings to add to the stable, having a few in the pipeline in various stages of preparedness. We also have some good ones in inventory that are receiving good scrutiny. It’d be fantastic to get several more good ones to set us up for a second or first best year for 2025.

All we know for certain is that we’ve added some great listings over the past week and plan to get some of those buyers in the doors and put their boots on the ground. Check out 199 Luther Land Rd., 302 Meadowlark Lane and Lot 30 Harborside. We are hopeful we can get these under contract quickly. If you know anybody who may have interest, pass those links along or simply have them give us a call. We also have a few million more in real estate to close before the end of August. 2024 is too early to call, let’s see what the 4th quarter has to offer.

That commitment is paying off as we were able to put another Lake Keowee waterfront lot under contract along with an interior home with boat slip. Just bit shy of $1M in Lake Keowee real estate, but who’s counting? We are…all the time as we sell ourselves out of inventory. I said that to say this: we need more good listings. We have a couple of houses and lots that may be ready to go but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. We need y’all out there talking us up to your friends, those who may be at the time to let that Lake Keowee real estate go…it could even be you. It is a great time to sell as you’ve gotten to enjoy the summer of 2024 and could still profit by 2024’s end.

July 4th week! Happy Birthday, America!!! 248 years old…I don’t think we look a day over 230. If you’re going to get out on the 4th I’d suggest getting in before noon. Unlike most days on Lake Keowee, July 4th can get crazy hectic. The weather should be great if a bit warm, but that is exactly why so many folks will be enjoying Keowee!

Before you know it July 4th will be here. Around Lake Keowee it’s a BIG celebration with many communities putting on fireworks displays, cookouts, get-togethers, shin-digs, not to mention the occasional hootenanny. It’s absolutely the height of the season for Lake Keowee. It’s also the peak of Lake Keowee real estate season.

Around Lake Keowee the time we’ve all been waiting for is here! Full-fledged summer. The kids are all out of school and the lake is clamoring for everyone’s attention. It should be an excellent Lake Keowee real estate selling season.

Memorial Day around Lake Keowee is in the rear-view mirror. Hopefully, everyone was able to enjoy a safe and fun holiday while having the opportunity to appreciate and honor the US military personal who’ve served and those who have died in service to our country.
