We’ve added a new Lake Keowee waterfront home to our stable of listings. 308 Treetops Drive is a fantastic home in Waterford Pointe with over 7000 ft. of heated space. We’ve also brought 322 Hillandale Rd. on the market – a nice home on Lake Keowee with a platform dock right in the middle of Seneca. We expect to bring two more homes on the market over the next week. So, lots of really fine properties for you to think about in said chair of choice!

We’ll be bringing on 3 houses here shortly that should see quite a bit of quick interest. Can’t wait to share them with you ASAP! As to be expected this time of year, activity remains strong though we are starting to see higher inventory levels in certain segments of the market. You buyers have much more to choose from, which is nice to say the least. So come out and get to choosing. Summer is in full swing, but you still have time to buy and close so you can enjoy it!

It’s the time of year around Lake Keowee where we have a bit of a lull as kids graduate from various levels of school and then, usually, along with parents they head on a week long vacation to some cool spot. This leads to a couple week slowdown in Lake Keowee real estate activity. We are currently in that slowdown. It may have been exacerbated by the current level of uncertainty, but we expect to see an increase in activity when folks get back to normal. We will be pushing hard to make that happen.

We were able to close a Lake Keowee interior property this week as well as add a listing that we quickly put under contract. That amount of activity makes for a good week, though we are always looking for great. Buyers are looking in earnest with the goal of getting into that Lake Keowee home around the July 4th holiday. Business keeps on business-ing as we were able to close a $715,000 Lake Keowee waterfront lot this week and visit with a few folks about listing their property soon. As we all know (I know you know) now is the time of year to get your Lake Keowee property on the market. Most buyers want to be in their dream Lake Keowee property before the end of July. If you run all the numbers, you’ll figure out that if you listed your property tomorrow, the best-case scenario would probably be closing by early June. So, the next 30-45 days are a critical time to get your property on the market if you want to get the most eyes on it.

The stock market and put all of your money into Lake Keowee real estate! For a lot of folks Lake Keowee real estate has been a GREAT investment, going so far as to make more money than it costs for them to live on the lake for years. The inventory is currently still low, but now is the time of year when folks are adding their properties to the market at the highest clip. It’s been yet another good week for us. We were able to put over $1M in Lake Keowee waterfront lots and put another $5M in property under contract. Those are the kind of weeks we wish for all year long. In fact, just a fraction of those numbers this week would make us quite happy, just as long as we are moving forward!

The one we listed is one we sold leaving the market with a total of 5 Lake Keowee waterfront lots available that have covered docks. That’s far too few. You need to sell your lot, make lots of money, sit on that money for a while and let it grow, then buy another Lake Keowee lot from us in the future – build a house on that Lake Keowee waterfront lot, live in it for a while….wash, rinse, repeat…you get the idea!
