You may have noticed that the stock market is on a bit of a wild ride. Did that maybe make you think there could be a recession on the horizon? I can promise you this, it may not happen this month, but it will happen eventually. Maybe it’s time for you to take advantage of prices being at all-time highs by putting your Lake Keowee real estate on the market. Why not let us look for/with you at where your current value sits? How much time are you going to spend at the lake this year? Is it time to give someone else a shot at our incredible Lake Keowee?

Unless, of course, there is a problem. That problem will be a lack of inventory in many categories, unless all y’all help us out. Not just y’all, but ALL Y’ALL! We need more listings (hint: we always need more listings, but now we’re severely short of what we consider a normal market, making it a really good time for you to list your property!). We can come out and look at your Lake Keowee house or lot and give you an idea of the current value (it’s probably more than you think).

As I sit here writing this Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog, the temperature is a balmy 79 degrees. That’s a Chamber of Commerce Day for us, especially since it’s February! I’m not foolish enough to think temps will stay like this for long as I expect us to see at least one or two more serious cold snaps prior to spring popping by and saying, “Hello, how’s the family?”. It does bring to mind the idea of spring, though, and the fact that now is the time to get your Lake Keowee real estate on the market!

It’s really that time of year around Lake Keowee with folks realizing (me) that we have less than a week until Christmas. Got to get stocking stuffers, presents, etc., etc. and sell as much Lake Keowee real estate as is possible this time of year. It’s all a bit more complicated when you are trying to plan around everyone’s personal and business schedules.

You potential sellers need to make the dreams of the buyers come true! Maybe you have to leave our beautiful area or better yet, you want to buy an even nicer piece of Lake Keowee property. You’ve got to make that happen and we can help!

Even though it’s slower, there are still quite a few buyers in the marketplace looking in various categories that are currently lacking sufficient inventory. But never fear! You, yes you, can help. You’ve enjoyed 2024 on Lake Keowee, now you’re going to spend most of your time doing something else. Let that property go for a good price! We’re here to help!

So where does that leave us? We have a couple of great lake Keowee waterfront houses we hope to get under contract this week and we have plenty of time to add a few more! Feel free to contact us so we can let you know if putting yours on the market is a good idea (hint: it is!).

Another good week as folks continue to envision that dream home on Lake Keowee. We put a waterfront home under contract along with a Lake Keowee waterfront lot. We will be adding two more Lake Keowee waterfront homes to our inventory to replace the one we just sold and then some, but it’d be better if we added three or four.
Put yours on the market. It’s time. The summer is more than halfway over and there are so many amazing things you can do with that money. Why wait?

All we know for certain is that we’ve added some great listings over the past week and plan to get some of those buyers in the doors and put their boots on the ground. Check out 199 Luther Land Rd., 302 Meadowlark Lane and Lot 30 Harborside. We are hopeful we can get these under contract quickly. If you know anybody who may have interest, pass those links along or simply have them give us a call. We also have a few million more in real estate to close before the end of August. 2024 is too early to call, let’s see what the 4th quarter has to offer.

July 4th week! Happy Birthday, America!!! 248 years old…I don’t think we look a day over 230. If you’re going to get out on the 4th I’d suggest getting in before noon. Unlike most days on Lake Keowee, July 4th can get crazy hectic. The weather should be great if a bit warm, but that is exactly why so many folks will be enjoying Keowee!
