Success!
The Clemson/Georgia game has come and gone an wow what a game!!!! ESPN was shooting from the campus all day and neither team’s effort was disappointing. It was a well fought battle right to the end taking place in one of the most exciting atmospheres in college football. The Clemson Tigers were able to come out on top with some great play under extreme pressure. The fans came out in droves and the electricity in the stadium was to be believed. This weekend will be remembered for a long time, not just for the outcome of the game but also for the shot in the arm all for the local businesses in Clemson, Seneca – all of Oconee County, Pickens, and even as far away as Greenville. If you had a rental property, it was filled. When you throw the combination of major college sports and academia in with one of the most beautiful lakes in the country, how can you lose?
On the Lake Keowee real estate front, we didn’t have any tours over the weekend but did have a nice tour on Monday as folks hung around for Labor Day. It was the last gasp for the Cliffs Beach Club pool (indoor pools at other Cliffs Communities remain open), but you’d still be able to enjoy The Reserve’s pool as it’s heated and will remain open into October. Now we are eagerly anticipating the fall change as the beautiful colors begin to pop out over the next 6 weeks. It’s the perfect time to check out Lake Keowee as the views open up, the air gets crisper, and the temperatures drop into the 60’s and 70’s.
We expect a good fall season. The economic signs continue to be more good than bad and the home sales pace continues to gain strength eventually leading to a much stronger Lake Keowee real estate market. Sellers, there are still plenty of buyers out there in the market place, make you property stand above the rest. Buyers, plenty of great deals for you to take advantage of, fall on Lake Keowee is a BEAUTIFUL time in every respect!
