Spring Time Storms
We’ve been getting some humdingers around Lakes Keowee and Jocassee over the past few days (humdinger – a storm system characterized by high winds, rain and hail of varying sizes, often causing divergent levels of property damage and can be especially problematic to owners of light weight homes with little or no foundation or a foundation of rubber). Fortunately everyone in the area seems to have come through it just fine resulting in not an unusual amount of debris to clean-up. At least we’ve gotten a good bit of rain which we sorely need (sorely – to a very high degree or level of intensity). I obviously realize that all of you who read this blog are not from the South and require the occasional Southern to English translation.
As for sales, we are still doing fantastically well for 2017 reaching the top of the heap for agents volume closed. Yep, #1! Even vs. “agents” who are teams of up to 12 or more people. Though these things are fleeting, as it’s most important to look at longevity and folks believe you me we’ve got that covered in spades, it still feels pretty cool to reign supreme even if only briefly. As you know we’ve been listing and selling real estate on Lake Keowee since 1989, far longer than anybody else who is in the top 10 producers. Also, we’ve been in the group of top producers for a considerably long time. But enough about that, you know we are experts at what we do as you read this Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Blog (See? It even says so in the title!). We just feel obliged to toot our own horn at least every few weeks or so.
