Close the book on the summer of 2013 which means school is back in session for the Lake Keowee area. Pickens and Oconee county schools started back this morning and Clemson University welcomed back students on Monday. The good news is we are getting really close to college football, but the bad news is – well there is no bad news; our kids are officially getting smarter and college football is here in EIGHT DAYS!
Fret not, as far as we’re concerned it’s is still summer on Lake Keowee and we’re continuing to work hard for both our buying and selling clientele. This week we’ve been fortunate enough to add a couple of more good listings which will appeal to a wide variety of folks. We’ll have them up and running over the next few days for anyone and everyone to check out, aerial videos and all, assuming the weather cooperates – we’ve had rain for 40 out of the last 45 days, leaving us grounded for much of the time. The weather folks tell us things may dry out a bit over the next week; we’ll believe it when we see it.
There are still more than quite a few of interested folks looking for Lake Keowee homes and land; in fact we’ve got 4 tours over the next few days. The market remains active though year over year we remain at about the same pace when it comes to sales of homes and land. If you’re selling, make it shine! If you’re buying, stop wasting time! Be in place so you too can enjoy college football from the shores of Lake Keowee as well as the beautiful fall colors that will be making their glorious presence known very soon!
