And soon… We are starting to see the first colors pop out on some of the “early defoliators” (which is smart tree personspeak for “the leaves are about bust out!)”. You can just feel it is going to be a spectacular fall color season. This morning you could see the mist above Lake Keowee swirling around slowly like olive oil on water as the sun rose over its shores – exquisite. We were able to get out and shoot some video this morning of some exciting new properties we are listing. You just can’t beat this time of year for putting property in its best light.
The best news is that buyers are still quite prevalent in the market. This past week only led to one new contract which is a bit of drop from previous weeks, but we still have some very good tours happening and we are getting a high volume of views on several of our properties. Folks will soon start spending more time watching football than water skiing but that doesn’t mean buyers will stop all together. Last year we continued seeing good activity (for the time of year) throughout the fall and winter, so keep your fingers crossed that it will happen again. Even with the wild gyrations of the stock market there are many examples of “good news” within the economy; so barring anything crazy we expect growing trend to continue!
