Grillin' or Chillin'?
As things begin to heat up on our Lake Keowee Real Estate Expert Web site, the question remains: will the winter cool keep the deep freeze on the market or are the increase in video views and site/page visits indicative of the warming trend we anticipate for both buyers and sellers? To clarify, from the point of searching the Web for property there is usually a 6 to 8 week period of incubation as the consumer goes from looker to buyer. And this means what to you? It means February and March are the final months to get off the fence and make something happen for yourself! Be assertive and do yourself one better than the other “potential” buyers. Beat them to the punch and find your properties today!
While 2010 wasn’t terrible, it was far from being considered good. The overall market, where the average sale price had remained the same but number of units sold, climbed by 9% from ’09 to ’10 but it was still well below the peak of the record setting 2006 market. In other words there’s still work to be done in order to create a new peak, which has been our intention all along. Take heed all you buyers and sellers, as equilibrium approaches, be certain you are in the game. The only sure way not to get a hit is not to swing!
