And we ain’t talking ’bout futbol, neither. But good ol’ foooootbaaawww the way we play it here in ‘Merica! It has, or is about to, kick off! Folks around here (at least those that don’t live in caves or under rocks) are getting jacked up for the upcoming college football season as it kicks off tomorrow night for South Carolina and Saturday for Clemson. Just thinking about football takes me to crisp Saturday mornings with beautiful blue skies, autumn leaves and the sights, sounds and smells of tailgate parties that last 3 days. The Gamecocks are favored to win, if only slightly and the Tigers are ready to square off with the Wofford T-Dawgs (Terriers, actually but us locals refer to them by the more ferocious and favored nomenclature). It’s a great time for Lake Keowee rentals as folks can come in on Thursday night, enjoy a day on Lake Keowee or Jocassee then get up early on Saturday for tailgating and the game, then back to the lake for a celebratory and victorious afternoon cruise. Again, see all previous Lake Keowee real estate expert blogs, what a wonderful area to live and visit!
I know you’re dying to hear how this past week went for Lake Keowee real estate experts Mike and Matt Roach. Wait no longer, here is the answer, right now, the next line, I promise. In short, FANTASTIC! We were able to put 3 lots and 1 house under contract over the past week. That’s $2,125,000 in real estate on 6 real estate sides. You may remember last week when I said if we closed everything on our board we’d be just short of our goal with a quarter to go, well now if we close everything on our board we’ll have to make a new goal! Don’t fret as we have a plan for that as we called our initial goal our average anticipated with a 20% increase over the previous year. We’ll now be shooting for ‘Maximum Obtainable” equivalent to a 40% increase – keeping those fingers and toes crossed!
Sellers, we REALLY want to sell your property…and we’re very good it! We will work harder than anyone to get your property out in front of as many eyes as possible. Buyers, see paragraph above. There are still plenty of great deals, but they won’t last forever, especially at this pace.
Once more (with feeling)…FFFFOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTBAAAAAAAAWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!
