Spring Again! (Again)
The number is 97%. That is the percentage of publishing climate scientists that support the consensus on anthropomorphic (caused by humans) climate change. I agree and so do my shorts. This is the 7th day of 2017 that I’ve worn shorts (I know I’m pushing the season a bit but can you blame me as it is our professional duty to sell Lake Keowee real estate and sales of Lake Keowee real estate happen more often when it’s warm – typically spring and summer) as it will reach into the 70’s today. I can honestly say I can’t remember a previous year of my life where I’ve worn shorts in January or February (wait, there were those “themed” mixers in college – big fun but also inside with a controlled climate). I do realize that this fact on its own is not strong enough data for global warming, but 97% is and with those kinds of odds I’m willing to bet the house.
Off of the doom and gloom to the fun in the sun! Yep, going to get out and enjoy the warm day. Take the kids over to the tennis courts at the Cliffs at Keowee Falls, then over to Clemson for an after school fund raiser at Chick-fil-a, then to the all-new Littlejohn Coliseum for the Syracuse vs. Clemson basketball game. That’s a fun Tuesday, I don’t care who you are!
This doesn’t mean we aren’t working to list and sell Lake Keowee real estate, in fact just the opposite is true. Being involved is a part of the job description. We are members of the Cliffs Communities and Keowee Key, we own a home on Lake Keowee in the Outerbanks, we have an office on Highway 11 between Lake Keowee and Jocassee which is a 5 minute trip to boat launches on either lake, we jet-ski, walk-around / shop around and have loads of fun all around these impressively beautiful bodies of water. Not to mention we’ve been doing this longer than almost all other realtors have even lived in the Lake Keowee area. We started selling property on Lake Keowee in 1989 (I know what you’re thinking, “No way they’re that old!”. In199 I was actually asked if real estate was my summer job!). So believe me when I tell you, we know Lake Keowee and Jocassee and can find you your dream Lake Keowee property or sell your existing Lake Keowee property. Yes, we can!
