Crape Myrtle Blooms
To call this weather “hot” would be like calling this election season “mildly interesting” or calling water “wet”. Yes, it’s hot. Pretty sure I bumped my head on the sun this afternoon. But it’s just that time of year here in the glorious South. Hot muggy summers is what we do. And there’s always a bright side, we have Lake’s Keowee and Jocassee to splash in to cool us down! Also, the Crape Myrtles are in bloom. I always like seeing those flowers bursting with color especially in the morning drenched in dew. Great news as well on the business side of things as there are still a good number of buyers in the market, apparently they’re all wising up and trying to find a place of their own slice of paradise so they can jump in the lake, too.
Business all around remains strong. We were able to put 2 houses and a lot under contract last week and are oh, so close to putting another house under contract. We also closed two houses and a waterfront lot over the past week. No rest for the hard working… and that’s just the way we like it!
We’d love to stay and chat, but there’s WAY too much property that still needs to be sold and buyers that need to find that perfect piece of Lake Keowee, so see you next week!
