Farmers market, cruise-in set to kick off Saturday – By Caitlin Herrington – SALEM – Following a Fourth of July celebration that brought in thousands of people from at least four states, the town of Salem is kicking off its summer cruise-in and farmers market on Saturday.

Those with classic cars or something fun to show off are invited to head to Main Street for the 6 p-.m. evetn. Town clerk Marti Jennings said any local farmers are encouraged to bring their produce to sell during the cruise-in as well.
