2016.99 and Counting!
Can’t you just taste it? 2017… She’s almost here! There were quite a few positive happenings in 2016, but as with most years quite a few not so good, as well. That’s the life we’ve been granted and you have a choice to look at the bigger and brighter picture or go the other route and just let it swallow you and dictate your persona. As a glass almost full kinda guy I’m sticking with the bright side. Call me Susie Sunshine but I’ve learned that experiencing joy and happiness is, in fact, a choice. That bright side was a heck of a year selling real estate for us here at Top Guns Realty. We closed 79.5 sides and just shy of $25,000,000 in volume (looks like we will close $2,700,000 +/- in January – go 2017!). That’s 22 house sides and 57.5 lot sides or an average of one side closing every 4.6 days. That’s really good stuff right there and a real reason to smile.
We’ve had a busy down week showing 27 lots and 6 houses over the past couple of days. Don’t tell me we don’t know how to vacation! We expect those showings to turn into sales over the next week. Keep your fingers crossed that is if you can still cross them after eating all of that turkey and ham. I’m sure, like mine, your joints are swollen. If that’s not a problem I’m sure taking your eyes off of the riveting early college football bowl games probably is. The good news is we are hitting our stride with the bowl games as most of the ones coming up should be a little more entertaining (my apologies to you folks whose teams where in the aforementioned “riveting” category I know they were riveting to you…I’ve been there and will be again).
We are working hard to get our listings out in front of as many eyes as possible! Hope all of you guys have a fantastic New Year’s eve and, say it with me, this time with feeling… Gooooooooo TIGERS!
