Matt Roach began in real estate in 1992 on beautiful Lake Keowee. After a couple of years learning the business, he followed his brother Mike to The Cliffs Communities. Then in 1994 he moved into sales management at a golf course community in Spartanburg County called the Links O’ Tryon. After successfully re-energizing that community, he was offered a position with Prudential Burroughs & Chapin in Myrtle Beach selling golf course and waterway condominiums.
In 1997, he received a call from Mike asking if he wanted to buy an existing real estate company and return to the Upstate of South Carolina. Citing a need for more permanence in his life, he decided that the challenge would be welcome. So in 1998 on April Fools’ Day, they opened Top Guns Realty. The team has received numerous national awards for their marketing and sales production expertise and accomplishments; steering their small company into the top 2% of all ERA franchises internationally.
In 2008 they sold their ERA franchise in an effort to focus exclusively on sales opportunities on pristine Lake Keowee, thereby taking full advantage of their combined 40 plus years of Lake Keowee waterfront sales experience.
