Duke Planning siren test Wednesday
SENECA – Duke Energy – the 65 sirens around Oconee Nuclear Station will be tested at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday.
State, county and Duke Energy officials perform the tests once per quarter to ensure the sirens are operating properly. county emergency officials in Pickens and Oconee counties are responsible for sounding the sirens.
