The Spring Park Inn was one of the oldest inns in Greenville County and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Greenville County Historic Register. Located behind the Gazebo on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, this home and this land are a wonderful gift to the Historical Society and to the people of Travelers Rest and Greenville County.
Restoration of the home is underway to become a house museum and educational space. The Travelers Rest Historical Society and the Anderson Gibson Family have partnered with Upstate Forever to ensure that the property will be permanently preserved as a park and green-space for use by the community.
