Saluda Theatre
The Saluda Theatre in Saluda, South Carolina, is a historic Art Deco-style movie theater built in 1936. Designed by architects Charles B. Thompson and Coke Bradley, the two-story stuccoed masonry building features distinctive Art Deco elements. After closing in 1981, it was restored post-1987 and now serves as the home of the Saluda Players, a community theater group. The Saluda Theatre was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 13, 1993.
The Saluda Theatre continues to be a cultural hub for the community, offering a variety of performances and events.
