The Museum of the Cherokee in South Carolina, located at 70 Short Street, Walhalla, SC 29691, is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history and culture of the Cherokee people in the state. Situated behind the Oconee County Courthouse, the museum is within walking distance of other local attractions, including the Oconee History Museum and Patriot’s Hall veterans museum.

- Open: Thursday through Saturday, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Admission: Suggested donation of $3.00 for adults; children 12 and under are free
