The M.L.B. Sturkey House is a historic residence located at the intersection of Main and Washington Streets in McCormick, South Carolina. Constructed around 1895, this one-story, wood-frame cottage exemplifies Queen Anne architectural style. Distinctive features include a gable-front main section complemented by a wing and rear addition. The house boasts a porch adorned with chamfered posts and a spindled railing, while decorative elements such as diagonal bracing and drop pendants enhance the gables. Original six-over-six sash windows and a frame-and-glass front door further contribute to its historic charm. ​

This residence was built by M.L.B. Sturkey, a prominent figure instrumental in the establishment of McCormick County. In recognition of its architectural significance and association with local history, the M.L.B. Sturkey House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
