The James A. Fulmer House, located at 303 North Main Street in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, is a distinguished example of Tudor Revival architecture with Craftsman influences. Built in 1932 for Dr. James Ambrose “Doc” Fulmer, the town’s first dentist, this one-story brick-veneered residence is considered one of the finest and most fully articulated examples of this style in Fountain Inn. ​

 Design: The house features a side-gable roof with a projecting gable section on the left front, combining Tudor Revival elements with Craftsman-style windows and interior details.​

Materials: The exterior showcases a multi-colored brick veneer arranged in various patterns, contributing to its distinctive appearance.​

 Interior: Numerous architectural details, including Gothic proportions, have been preserved, maintaining the home’s original character.​

Dr. James A. Fulmer (1881–1945) was a prominent figure in Fountain Inn, having completed his dental training in 1905 and establishing his practice in the town. He remained a fixture of community life until his death. The house was constructed as his residence and is a testament to his contributions to the community.
