This two-story, brick-veneer residence spans approximately 4,080 square feet. Its design includes a hip roof with composition shingles and a balustrade around its top. The front elevation showcases two formal entrances with Doric columns, and the windows are primarily six-over-six light sash windows .
- Warren Smith (1880–1968) was a prominent local businessman who founded Liberty Light & Power in 1910. After selling the company to Duke Power, he continued to serve as the Pickens County manager. Construction of the house likely began in the late 1930s, coinciding with his retirement. The house later served as a boarding house known as “Maggie Manor” and, after being sold in 1941, became the Myrtle Inn, a popular spot for local businessmen .
