The Furman Lunch building, located at 654 South Main Street in Greenville’s historic West End, is a notable structure with deep ties to the city’s educational and commercial past. Constructed between 1915 and 1925, it originally served as a dining facility for Furman University, which was situated in the West End before relocating to its current campus in 1958.

Today, the building has been thoughtfully repurposed and is part of Rick Erwin’s West End Grille. It functions as a private dining and event space, maintaining its historical charm while offering modern amenities for gatherings of up to 125 guests.

The Furman Lunch building is a contributing property within the West End Commercial Historic District, a nationally recognized area encompassing 15 historic structures that reflect Greenville’s commercial development from the late 19th to early 20th centuries.
