Bonner Hall on Erskine College Campus
Bonner Hall is a prominent residence hall on the Erskine College campus in Due West, SC, with historical roots and modern amenities. It’s purpose was housing for first-year male students. Originally built in 1970 to replace the main building of the former Woman’s College (circa 1860). It underwent a full restoration in 2001, preserving historical character while updating facilities.
Built nearly a century after the original Woman’s College Main Building, Bonner Hall honors the legacy of women’s education in Due West. Nestled near other historic structures within the Erskine College–Due West Historic District (NRHP-listed). It functions as both a modern dormitory and a symbol of the campus’s layered educational heritage.
