Alumnae Memorial Hall (Carson Performance Hall), located at 1 Bonner St, is more than an auditorium: it’s a century-old emblem of women’s education at Due West Female College, now enriched by its legacy at Erskine College. Erskine College, founded in 1839, is rooted in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and is a central facet of Due West’s identity The hall remains active, hosting student recitals (e.g., November 2024 Music Department recital). Architecturally significant in its Neoclassical symmetry, it’s a living venue for arts and academic assembly—beautifully blending heritage with continued campus vitality.
