1868 Building
1868 Building – 101 West Pickens Street (ca. 1889): Two-story, stuccoed brick commercial building with central, recessed, double door entrance flanked by display windows with colored glass transoms and stuccoed pilasters on the first story. A frieze with bull’s-eye ornamentation extends across facade between first and second stories. Second story has large, central window flanked by smaller windows, all of which have semicircular arches. The parapet features recessed and corbelled panels and a central pediment. The South Main Street elevation is not pierced and is unornamented.
